To cut a long story short , went into the garden this morning to find a hedgehog had got it's neck tangled in the football net .
I managed to cut it free and luckily it was still alive - but only just . It's resting in a box of straw behind the shed at the moment , and it can leave whenever it wants to .

PLEASE , PLEASE : if you've got any netting in the garden ( football or gardening ), either raise it up or remove it for the winter . Thanks .

Also.....don't forget to put a little food out for the hedgehogs to build them up ready for hibernation.  Dog food or Cat food!
