vet told me to give pups it because there still not pooing :(  last night 1 of the liveler pups pooed and OMG it was 6-7 inch long !!! two of the pups look like they still havnt pooed yet ,so how much liquid parafin shell i give them ?thay are weeks old and over 1kg , and how do i give them a liquid parafin enima?

gave some liquid parafin my mouth and a little up bum !!1 did a massive poo !!!still waiting for other other 4 ? only gave 0.1ml by mouth and 2drops up bum !

It would be ok to give 3/4 drops on the tongue before each feed , until they start going regularly , then decrease the times and give it just at night........just been through the same thing with my litter !! It doesn't really matter how much you put up their bottom ( within reason..lol ) as it's all going to come right out again so you can't do any harm , just go very very carefully ! Good luck !

what about a few ml's of cooled down boiled water up the bum, that normally makes them ago almost imiedietly???

hi Em ive just rang vet and she said to give 1 more lot of liquid parafin and they dont go in 2hours i have to take them down ,there may need an enima !! ive got given 1 to my puppies before so i dont what to do it myself !! i have been putting 0.1 ml of LP up there bum but its not worked !! x
