Has anyone read today's Daily Mail ?
There is a 2 page spread on celebrities and puppy farms .
I think it is quite well done but i would have liked to see a list of places to go and things to look for when buying a pup .

I like it.  And I think people will listen to it, it hasn't been over done and it's not telling you where you should go, but giving the truth of where the puppies come from who are in such horrible places like pet shops.

For those who haven't read: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1050747/How-tiny-handbag-dogs-bred-conditions-horrific-cruelty.html

It chocks me when I see them caged Yes!! I think dogs do cry, just like they feel pain as we do. I get very angry when people say well its only a dog!
Stick a pin in them it hurts just like it does us, but! people do not care dogs can't talk to tell on people can they?
Humans are very cruel.

And there was outcry about the olympics being held in China because of their record in animal cruelty.

Shocking is it not?
The words........ pot, kettle and black spring to mind .

Oh my god, I have just read this and am deeply disturbed about it.  I think I must have had my head in the sand as I didnt realise pet shops were still allowed to sell puppies in this country!!  I personally havent even seen a pet shop selling puppies, thankfully.
I knew ireland was bad for it as you always see adverts stating pups coming over on such and such a date so will need to be collected then.
I feel sorry for the people they got their original stock from thinking they were going to a good home :(

The only place i have ever seen pups being sold in shop was a very well known Knightsbridge store! A few years back now admittedly so not sure whether they still have pups on offer.

They were king charles spaniels if i remember rightly and probably not from a reputable breeder.

Yes, they still sell puppies but there are several pet stores around the country that sell them, in much bigger numbers too.
