I hope the owner manages to get the company to withdraw this type of ball or change the design.

I had seen this link and the video it is dostressing seeing him trying to drink water without his tongue, poor boy :( :(
I think there are some incidents yeah but wouldnt be able to link them and Im sure people on here know of some stories too, I always look for the 2 holes in every toy ball now and hold it up to the light in the shop but I just prefer not to buy toys like that now and sticks are banned too in our house.

As sad as it is accidents unfortunately will always happen with anythng in life.  We've used these kinds of balls for over 20 years with no incident.

i remember somthing like this happening last year to and the toy was withdrawn from sale.
luckly before a dog got this hurt.
