Has anyone ever used these on their dog? If so was it a good result. someone suggested them as I am having probs again with Safi. she is needing to go to the toilet severel times a day. Its not always that loose but sometimes she doesn't even go. she squats but does nothing! she isn't constipated, as when she does go its formed but soft. Sorry for being so explicit. I'm getting to my wits end with her. shes just about ruined a caravan holiday due to me having to get up twice a night to take her out, off the site. I just don't know what to feed her anymore or what to give her. In herself she is fit and well, its just her damn intestines. I even went and bought some complete kibble whilst on hols on Hubbys advice, as the fresh meat i was giving her wasn't seeming to suit. the kibble made no difference what so ever so she is now back on AMP meat that I cook first. i thought it was easier for her to digest, but now I'm not so sure. along with some cooked root veg in with it. I have given her Bionic Biotics to heklp her immune system. I'm beginning to wonder if it is her bowels at all
Help anyone pleeease. any ideas?

My Beardie boy often strains after he has passed a motion I decided it was his anal glands and started him on the husks. He's still on them and doesn't strain as much. Looks like he's pooing snakes though:-o

Hi Cava14Una
what do you feed your Beardie on. I know its not her anal glands as I do check them periodically and with her having bones regularly, that helps to empty them. I know what you mean though about the 'snakes'!!
Has anyone else any ideas??

He's raw fed.

I've also used pysillium husk(again with a raw diet) for anal gland problems.  Worked very well.
