Hi,
Hope this post is ok here, have only posted once before although check this site almost every day. Was wondering whether anyone had any particular recommendations for hotels that accept both dogs and kids. Just looking for a short break later in the year, location and cost not really a problem, just looking for somewhere friendly. Have found a lot of places on the internet but it's so hard to tell how nice they are by just looking at a few pictures! Also so many of them say they welcome dogs but then say only in one room, not in public areas of the hotel etc etc. Would really like somewhere a bit more relaxed about it. Do they exist? Does anyone have any ideas?

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks for reading.

I've recommend the Spittal of Glenshee. It's a gorgeous place, fabulous walking, pony trekking on lovely highland ponies and lots more. Dogs are welcome everywhere apart from the restaurant, you can eat outside with them if you want. They're welcome in the bar in the evenings :-)

Thanks Tigger2, this is more the kind of thing I hoped to find. What a lovely setting!
