Hi guys

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a dog onto the breed data base? (newfoundland)  My pup was born in May and jsut had a look at the dam but it only has her litter off a few years ago on there and jsut wondered how long it would take for my pup to appear on it? or is this something I have to do myself?

Hope someone can help

It may appear after the litter appears in the Breed Record Supplement as I think that's where most of the details for UK dogs are obtained from.  Of course, that requires the litter to be KC registered...did you & the other poster who ever get the papers from the breeder?

Hi ShaynLola

Thanks for your post. Yeah we eventually got our documents with the help of trading standards. :-)

That's good.  The whole litter should appear on the database at some stage in the future then.  It can be a bit slow to happen but it should appear eventually.
