Just got a phone call from a friend.  She has been looking for a wee while to get another dog/pup to replace one she lost.  She has done all the NO NO's. bought from the internet. travelled to a meeting place to collect pup as they lived a fair bit away. Now she thinks.. that the 6 week old pup is deaf, it hardly react at all to loud noise. She knws she did the wrong thing by not going to home of breeder ttc, but that is now done. I just dont know how the person that bred this pup didnt notice the poor pup not reacting to any noise.  Can anyone tell me, at what age is hearing fully developed?  Thanks.  It is white with very little colour elsewhere.

I believe a dog cannot be BAER tested until 5 weeks so that must be the age hearing is fully developed . I am sure some one more knowledgable will be along soon to confirm or correct this.
