Hi , my bitch has just had pups, they are now 2 weeks. She will let everyone in the family near her and the pups apart from my son, he only has to walk past her bed and she growls at him, she wont let him near her or the pups.
She has never been aggressive with him before she had her pups, anyone got any suggestions how to stop her from doing this.

I would suggest just keeping your son away to stop causing her any stress, my boys have usually watched the first couple of pups being born and then gone to bed, but I have never even had to tell them not to go near my bitch afterwards, they don't go near the pups at all until they are approx 3 weeks, I will lift the cover of her large covered crate for them to have a quick peak and my girl has never growled ever, but it is a respect thing I guess, she has complete privacy apart from me handling the pups daily to change bedding and check them over.

Some bitches see males of any species a threat, it is quite natural and an instinct that some bitches act on, perhaps your son is young and unpredictable, or older with his own hormonal smells, either way she is untrusting of him, she has every right to judge whom she feels her pups are safe around, whom she feels will handle them with care and whom she sees as a threat and possible danger as wrongly judged as that may be it is her own opinion.

Tell your son not to worry, in another couple of weeks she won't mind, at present she is at her most protective. However, if your son is young he should not go near unsupervised, and if older I would suggest that you hold the pups first and then pass to him, if you do this a few times she will ease off her worries. :-)

But for now, allow her to have peace of mind.

I have had a similar experience with a maiden bitch, she would let me near them but no one else.  I think they get a bit paranoid that everyone is out to steal their babies.  Just make sure her bed is nice and enclosed to make her feel more secure and they snap out of it in about the 3 - 4 week.  In the meantime just keep your son away from her as much as possible.

Congrats on the puppies
