Amazing....amazing thought I would shar this with you all

This morning it was drizzling with rain I opened the backdoor to let Sal out into the garden she took about 5 steps out had a quick wee and shot back in.....................glancing at me as if to say "its raining you know...evil person putting me out in the rain"

About an hour later the rain was by now pouring down, but I had letters to post and hey presto Sal is eager and ready to face the now almost torrential rain with the wag of her tail....why? because I had evoked the magical powers of the dog lead...... it obviously protects her from the rain......

So does anyone else have a magical dog lead?????

Missie had one of those magical doors :) hated the rain, cold weather in the back garden but somehow it was brighter going through the front door ! yeah ok maybe the lead had something to do with it LOL
The Leo's couldn't care less how cold or blowy or wet it is, they are up for the outdoors anytime, I got soaked this morning trying to get four puppies in!  :)

Well mine are water dogs so they love the rain :)  Except for my old girl but I don't blame her not wanting to go out in pouring rain at her age.

I have two doors into the back garden, apparently the dining room french doors go to a far more interesting and magical place than the one from the kitchen . Obviously it does not rain there either!!

I have a 'magic lead' a blue rope slip lead which I show to the dogs if they try to hide when the grooming table comes out or such or if eldest girl is up the garden and refuses to come in I dont need to use it just show it and the head goes down and they slowly walk to whereever it is I want them to go .....its quite funny to watch and we really dont know how it started but it works!!

Can I borrow your magical lead (I actually need 3 of them)?  My Staffys and X hate the rain.  They won't go out for a walk in it at all!

I have a magical front door too :-) One of my bitches won't 'go' in the back garden if the grass is wet, but will quite happily go out the front door and do the necessary ;-)

I also have a magic lead for bath times. My bitches need to be reminded that they are getting a bath. One show of the lead and off they trot to the bathroom. My boy goes in as soon as he hears the taps running. Makes it very difficult sometimes when it's my bath I'm running :-D

I need a magical lead too!!!!!!

Cher looks at me every time, with death eyes, like a lazor going through you!!!  Like how dare you.

One time, I decided to get stubborn as I was gonna make her go to washroom in the rain.  None of this go outside, refuse, then come back in and pee on my washed floor.  I stood outside for an hour and a half, with her.  She had the umbrella (as to get as little wet as possible).  Me, I was soaked.  She still won.  She was only about 5 months old at the time.  Ohhh, the min pin stubborness.

Now, she will do it, but not be to happy about it.  Quick pee, and then back in.  The leash thing doesnt work, since she has to go out washroom with a leash on.  So, she sees it, and it doesnt do anything!!!!  No real excitement.  Until we walk past the back gate.

One of my chows loves water on a walk, going belly deep in the sea in the middle of winter is his idea of fun.  However, getting his feet wet on the grass in the garden is the end of the world so he sighs at me and sticks out his bottom lip.

Ditto when I water the garden they run in and outr of the water, swim like demons and crouch in the bath like your committing murder!! If I was bathing them in a puddle no problem. Rain they don't mind as they are always up for a walk.
