Well it is Bakewell Premier Open Show On Wednesday and Thursday

Is anyone going?  How bad was the traffic last year ? (I missed that one :( )

Plus bakewell always seems to have random weather so place your bets now blazing sunshine or pouring with rain?

I'm hoping for sun as we are camping there!  Traffic was fine last year from what I can remember.  Don't have to be there too early this year as Anton's in AVNSC gundog, luckily he's first day as the Pom on the second day is first in the ring!

I'm going just to watch on the Sunday - was tooo warm for my Mallies last year so they not entered as they cost me a fortune inice cream:)

Tanya1989, did you not go two years ago then?  First day weather was lovely second day was a totally different matter, you couldn't get near to the stalls etc, because it was almost flooded grass, it was awful.

We got both today - blazing sun alternating with torrential rain. Love our weather don't you!! :-D

I meant Thursday - what colour puppy?? I assume a Spaniard??? How exciting :) I am semi planning a new puppy too!!!

Could someone tell me which day Gundogs are on please?  Weather permitting, I may pop over with the kids for the day, to watch.

:)  I am not going this year but friends will be there (with Stan and Bobbi) on Thursday

We'll be there on Thursday in the motorhome. We're not entered and yes the dogs will  be with us. Does anyone know if there is any overnight camping there? OH is a blue badge holder, so idealy the closer to the show entrance, the better, as he's sruggling to get around at the moment and every yard counts for him.

You are best phoning the secretary.  There is camping there but you'll need to contact him.
