My border terrier bitch had her first pup at 9.15 this morning - she seems settled and quiet, and pup feeding OK - any advice on how long between pups or perhaps there is only one? This is the first litter for the bitch Millie and for me!

Guest, if Millie hasn't produced more pups call your vet NOW. There may only be one pup, but its a good idea to have the vet check out Millie anyway, and if there are more its a good rule of thumb not to let much more than two hours pass between pups unless you are experienced at whelping.
