Looking to find a good speaker for a breed club event - we're interested in putting on something on Animal First Aid and/or BARF and raw feeding. Any one got any suggestions, seen anyone good recently that you'd recommend? All help and suggestions much appreciated!

Your local vet may be able to do a first aid talk, or know someone who can.  I don't know if you should trouble to ask him about the other subject :-D

We have had a couple of first aid talks that we have organised and both times got a friend in who is a vet nurse/veternary teacher at collage and was very informative.  It hink a vet nurse would be better then a vet as you want to know the simple tasks of what to do in certain situations between getting your dog from the incident to the vet surgery.  The lady we had is not that well known outside her own breed but has so much experiance she was great to listen to and also provided us a simple detailed leaflet/small booklet we could print off under the society name and her name and gave them to each who attended to refer back to and we also sell them for a £1 within the club shop! :)
