The other day my eldest daughter came in and told me about a person who lives in a black of flats near me, this person has a gsd who he takes to work and is left in the car allday he also has a large luton van parked up, turns out this gsd lives in the van the dog is a security dog by all accounts, my daughter has seen him walking the dog and started chatting to him, and mentioned we had a puppy he then told my daughter he wanted to get another pup soon to train and work like his other one, now i had never noticed him going to the van getting the dog in or out untill it was mentioned to me then over the week i have seen him a few time come out of the flat let the dog out to go to the toilet and then put the dog back even late at night, then yesterday someone else she talks to who lives in the flat told my daughter he had called the rspca about this dog, i have spent the day at my parents (they live in the next road up from me) and my daughter had poped home to pick up some shoes as she was hot and wanted her sandals and there was a rspca inspector there so my daughter was talking to her she had banged on the side of the van and the car to see if the dog would bark (he didnt actually) so she gave my daughter a card and said if we saw him taking the dog in or out the van to call her, as my daughter walked off the mother of the person who owns the dog caame out to the car and the inspector was talking to her. We dont konw what was said as my daughter walked on, next thing i know my daughter called me to say the police were there so i walk round to meet her and stoped and spoke to a police officer and asked if they were taking the dog away, there was a normal patrol car a dog section car and a police van all there, lucky for the dog they were there to take him away i was told he is being prosecuted by them and the rspca and asked if i had seen him take the dog in and out of the van at all, i told them i had and would be willing to give a statment, he said they probally would not need one as the dog was found locked in the van and that was enough but they took my details just in case. The poor dog has been shut up in the back of the van for well over 6 months and by all accounts when the weather is not so warm he only lets the dog out when its dark (probally because he does not want people to know that dog is there) but i can only igamine how hot it is in the back of that van he was a lovley looking dog very friendly, long coated so god know how much he was suffering in there, now i just hope they can make the charges stick and he does get prosecuted and dog finds a lovey home where he will be look after and loved, just wished i had noticed this sooner

I didnt find it hard to read because of full stops but just because of what the berk was doing to his poor dog!

Pleased with the outcome at least the poor dog will get to a nice home now,
