As some of you know, I have tried Arden Grange this time, for the first time.  It's been going ok, although this litter don't dive into it and enjoy it like previous litters have with Pedigree tinned food, but I do believe this is better for them, so have stuck with it.

My question is how on earth do I get them from the mush (mixed with puppy milk) to eating the actual biscuits??  Babies now 5 1/2 weeks and I've tried a few here and there, they just play with them or walk off.

I start by no longer mashing with a fork and then continue by putting less and less fluid it.  My pups all seemed to enjoy their food more and more as it got crunchy.  By 6 weeks they were eating it totally dry.

Hmm I'm using a hand blender, so maybe I should try just a fork now?  I doubt it will mush much with just a fork though.

Thats the idea.  A bit less mushing to start with and then moving on from there.

Right ok thank you.  I think I'm panicking because both my children wouldn't eat lumps lol.  Must remember these are dogs, not kids!!

Well no, they are not the same but I would be giving the kids lumps in their food too!  :-)

lolol yes I think 13 and 8 is just about old enough for lumps ;-)
