One of my girls (small breed) has a little growth on her shoulder, its very small about the size of a tip of a match, it's a kind of skin/browny colour, not sure how long it would of been there, I only found it today as I was going through her coat with a comb, she is going for her booster in about two weeks, should I wait until then or get her booked in early next week. She is happy in her self and is casing her no pain, and it doesn't seem sore. Is it something she could have been born with? But have not noticed it before, my husband seems to think it's some kind of mole but of course he's no vet.

Are you sure it's not a tick? :-D

Hi ZaraH, Good thinking :-D but it's not a tick.

I should of also of said that it sticks out wards. Rather than being under the skin.

Worth a try! No idea really then. I'd probably pop her along to the vets rather than wait the 2 weeks.

Sorry ? I'm a little confused a tick would stick outwards also as Here. Forgive me if i've misunderstood.

:-P Okay, best way to describe it, is to say it looks like she's growing a tinny nipple on her shoulder.

Sounds like it could be a wart to me but I would point it out to the vet when you go.
