Topic Dog Boards / Health / Which wormer?
- By Jax [gb] Date 30.06.08 12:35 UTC
I gave Barney his Drontal Plus wormer yesterday.  When he had his breakfast this morning, a chicken wing, he was sick 5 mins after and now he just doesn't seem to be his normal happy self.  I think this happened last time he was wormed, could it be the Drontal Plus?  What other wormer would you recommend? (for a dog with a sensitive tummy)

Thanks.
Jax :)

I class a couple of my dogs as having sensitive tums and have never had a problem with Drontal Plus.  In the past I have used Panacur for a litter but wasn't happy with the results.  I have also used Panacur for a bitch in whelp with no problems at all so perhaps you might like to try that one.

I use 4 seasons homeopathic wormer, very gentle and effective, also giving my dogs garlic, brewers yeast and pumpkin seeds help keep them worm and flea free.  I get it from here: http://www.holisticpetsupplies.co.uk/product_reviews_info.php?products_id=87&reviews_id=69
