Hi, here's a list of the sites I use, not specifically north though so you might need to sort through!

www.fossedata.co.uk
www.highampress.co.uk
www.prodogs.co.uk
www.penneypine.co.uk
www.canineinfo.free-online.co.uk
www.dogshowprinting.co.uk
www.pitalpin.co.uk
www.theprintshop.uk.com

Also have a look at Dog World either as a newspaper or online at http://www.dogworld.co.uk

Hi Jo

where in the north......

only asking as some see Manchester as north whereas I see Carlisle-Newcastle as the north, and for open shows it makes for a long journey
:-))))
Barbara

my north is newcastle/carlisle!! where its wet and windy! the reason im wanting to know is that we are travelling up there for a month so we thought we might aswell fit in a few shows. we are going up in august and just touring around visiting family and trying to relax. so if anyone knows of any show details please could you let me know thanks

Hi Jo

the only open show schedule I have for August is Alnwick 3rd Aug , sec Mrs M Palmer 01670 819172, I'll have a look at ringcraft tomorrow and see what else there is...

and by the way we're about to have a mini heatwave-forcast 22 degrees tomorrow, sweltering :-))))))

They do have KC shows on there and it was also decided by the KC that they couldn't stop people going to their dogshows or judging.  They are a good learning show and many well known judges do attend.

typical! its redhot here aswell (south west) but the heat is different here i struggle to cope although the dogs seem to enjoy it, in fact one of them hates the cold so much she wont leave the door if its even a bit nippy iv got to put her coat on! (she is a dobermann). i look forward to the weather up north. where else can you have snow wind rain hail and redhot sunshine all in one day!!

Cartmel Agricultural Society have an Open Show, August 6th, lovely show!  Is that too far South?  Probably about an hour and 10 minutes from Carlisle.

any distance within reason. getting a motorhome so we can go most places, we are just aimlessly drifting around for a bit!!

Well, Cartmel closes July 6th, schedules from Mrs McEvoy 01524 60360, she's the secretaty for a few other shows in South Cumbria.

these all sound great. im sure my other half will love spending his days at dog shows!!! not that he dosent like it, its 'coz he isnt allowed to!!! so iv been alowed to make a pigs ear of showing his boy. so different to showing my girl.
just adding that oh has just had moh surgery (pericardiectomy) and cant hold a dog for 6mts especially our monsters, didnt want anyone to think he had been banned etc from taking part.
