I had to take Bailey to the vets today as he was sick several times this morning :( and he has told me to fast him them put him on a light diet for a couple of days ie Chicken & rice but what I need to know is how much do i feed him? He has 300g of Eukanuba a day normally :) He has also got some paste to have twice a day for three days in a horse wormer type syringe which is going to be fun :D Any tips greatfully recieved!! :D:D:D

Tracy, I'd go for about 400g, split 50/50 rice/chicken. Don't worry though, he won't starve over a few days if you get it a bit wrong, plus lack of food will probably help. After 3 days you'll be fed up of cooking up rice and chicken and glad to get back to normal :)

Hi Tracey, sorry to hear Bailey is not too well. Has he had any diarrhoea ? If so, mashed potato is worth a try (proper potato rather than Smash !). Helps to 'firm' them up a bit.
