I took Junior to the vet, apparently the girl who sent out the card messed up and he wasn't due for rabbie till next year. O'well i just did the anual cause I wanted to get him checked out anyhow. His left hind leg is a lil sore in the knee area and his right front leg is a lil sore in the shoulder area. She said to keep an eye on him and I can give him a quarter of a regular asprin when he goes lame, if he seems to get an upset tummy to call and we will try something else. He seems to only get like that after laying down for a period of time or jumping around going crazy with the other dogs... She thinks it may be arthristis or he may have pulled a legiment, and to keep record of exacty when it happens and may need x-rays- but he is going to be 8 years old and hyper as tho he was still a pup nothing really slows him down except when his front leg hurts cause then he's on 3 legs but still hyper. We give him daily messages and that seems to help. May look into glucosamine so any good treats out there with that in it? funny he was so excited to see the vet and couldn't wait for his treat lol she uses canned dogfood which he just loves :)

Hi ya Doll!!

Sorry to hear the boy isnt soo good {{gentle Hugs}} for him x
I swear by Glucosamine&chrondriotin...dotn know how it is in Canada but over here on the little Island of Blighty the dog 'treats' that have G&C in have nominal amounts, so hardly worth it.... better to buy the supplement itself.

Healing thoughts x

Thank you :)

I checked the dog treats and its not even worth it like you said, then checked the pills which don't have much in it and they are asking $30-$40, so hubby mentioned to buy human ones which our vet suggested with Taz way back cause you get more for even less price. Junior weighs 25pounds so then I guess just figure out how much to give him and how often. Am hoping this will help him feel much better but he's so hyper its ridiculas.

This is a place where we get our stuff from, and looks as if they will post to anywhere :)
