Our 7 year old girl is having a phamtom with milk etc and is carrying round a tourch of all things as her baby. Trouble is her daughter has 8 day old pups. She knows to keep away from baby's and only takes notice if they "squeak" but i dont know if i should let mum stay with friends for a bit or just let nature take course making sure we keep a close eye on everything. Lucy (pups mum) isnt worried at all about her mum being about

Hi, I would see if friends could have her for a few weeks while pups are at home, my girl went through a false pregnancy and carried around a toy and treated it like her baby, although I found this very cute I was told to take the toy away from her by another breeder as it does not do the bitch any good believing she has pups when she does not.

Yeah we were told that by the vet a few years ago when she had one before...........took it off her yesterday eve but she was howling at 3am. (Typical just get pups to a stage where im sleeping longer at night to be woken by this problem!!!)
