My girl had 7 pups sat morning.........last pup born 11am. She had 2 doses of oxytosin after last pup and went to vet on Monday for check up and further dose of oxy. ALL pups doing well and mum ok apart from episodes of digging / scratching which i put down to after pains.
The poor little soul has just given birth to an 8th pup...........no noticable pushing/contractions
Little mite was dead and looked mis shaped but perfectly formed, she cleaned him but thats it. she obvisoly knew he wasnt alive. Shes now looking after her 5 day old babies .......i will be watching like a hawlk now

Gosh, my friend's bitch had a puppy 24 hours after they thought she'd finished, but 5 days must be close to a record!! Sorry to hear about him but pleased the rest are all fine!

I agree must be a record.

Vet seems to think it must have been high up under rib cage area. Mum in herself seems alot happier, she even came out box for a "cuddle"
