Someone at work's Mum has one. It gets on fine with 2 Samoyeds and 3 cats.

Schipperkes get along with almost anything that moves!

A puppy will not find cats a problem and usually they view them as great playmates. An older schip might be a different matter depending on the dogs background and experience with cats. Most of it depends on how you introduce them and even older cats and schips can become good friends given time.
