I'm going to Southern Counties and it will be my first time going to a Champ show in 2 years. I've been to Windsor Champ show and I cant remember how much it cost to get in as there is 3 of us. Can anyone help me out please? I'm not showing btw.

Entry form says it is free :-) will just go check if there is a car park fee.

Car Parking for visitors is £5 it is free for exhibitors. This seems to be a new sort of arrangement something to do with not being able to charge people to go into a show where dogs that are docked are exhibited so they charge for cars instead.

No not showing, too far for me and too expensive as we do not have tickets at Southern Counties.

It's a lovely show since they moved to Newbury and they have had a good entry there for our breed without CC's for some years, as they usually give us a specialist of Scandinavian judge.  I was surprised we got CC's back at SWKA as their entries have not been nearly as good.

As for distribution one is straight after Bath, and the other straight after Windsor, though I think the Southern counties is easier for Mid landers and those further north to reach.

Agree Barbara the distribution of CCs has always been a mystery to me. Forget they have moved to Newbury and that would be within my range, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, mind you if the petrol goes up much more then Newark will be too far :-)

It's really nice there, and it is literally off the junction so easy to get to, whcih is more than can be said fro Richmond :(

I love the show now being at Newbury showground as I can get there in about 30 mins.
Southern Counties is normally a lovely show (here's hoping the rain goes away in time)

Likewise with fuel increases all the time I will be thinking long and hard about entering shows
as the fuel cost will be extortionate.

I must admit already I am sticking to shows that are more local.
Althou didn't enter Windsor as my dogs aren't the judges type so have saved pennies there but
will probably go along for a look see as I'm a lifetime member and get a bit of shopping.

Think quite a few people will start feeling the pinch soon and dog shows will suffer for it.
