....of any ringcraft classes in Croydon or surrounding areas eg, Bromley, Biggin Hill, Shirley, West Wickham etc. I have heard of one in Wallington but can't find a venue or phone no for it. Any help much appreciated :)
I looked at the ringcraft page on this site and found one for Wallington: WALLINGTON RINGCRAFT CLUB Mrs A Fisher, 8 Maple Way, Hooley, Surrey, CR5 3RN. Tel: 01737 556898
I have no experience with them. There may be others on that page that are close to you.
Thanx for trying - I have rung this number. The poor guy whose number this is has been having calls for the last four years and has never heard of this lady - he even posted a note to the listed address and those people haven't heard of her either!! I know there is definately one in Wallington - its just finding it!!!
Oh no! guess that website is out of date. Hopefully someone will come along that knows. You could try the Kennel Club just in case they're registered at clubsandtraining@thekennelclub.org.uk. You could also try the local canine societies. I'm sure one of the local show secretaries must know about it. Doing a search in the show diaries I've come up with a couple of secretaries in Wallington. Good luck!
A big problem is that many ringcraft groups fold because during the show season not enough people come to training (as they are also showing) and halls are hard to get and pay for.
Many small groups also decide that becoming a KC registered club and having to have a committee is too much trouble so form small private clubs, so KC don't list them and they seem to be found by word of Mouth..
