My poor Bea :( got up this morning and she had messed in her crate, from both ends...
she's not herself today, she's not had anything different to eat than the others and they're all ok, her brother is a bit subdued too cos she's not playing with him, he keeps coming over for cuddles.
She's been sleeping a lot, I made sure she's drinking, and now I'm at work have given hubby strict instructions to keep an eye on her.
I think she's basically ok, it's just not like her to make a mess and I felt really sorry for her this morning, bless her.
She will have made the mess between 7am and 10am, cos hubby was on nights and I got up later than usual cos of my tablets, so I feel it's my fault for not getting up earlier...:(
(hubby did take them all out before he came to bed and he said she was ok then)
fingers crossed she feels better soon

These symptoms must mean there is something wrong, could be a 24 hour bug or it could be the sign of something else going on. If she is sick more than a couple of times then I would seek the advice of a vet.
Hope by the time you get home she will be much better and everyone can stop worrying.
yes fingers crossed she will be fine when I get home, I've never known her be at all ill, she was fine last night, skipping about the garden and playing, it's just this morning...
the only other thing I ust thought of is that she has managed to shred the blanket/fleece that covers her crate, I wonder if she's ingested some of that and it made her vomit?? Tho I don't see how it would cause dire-rear too....hmmm
will check for any signs of dehydration etc when I get home, and if she hasn't had any further bouts of sickness I'll just put it down to a one off.....
well I called hubby and he said she had a normal poo before he went to work, and wanted her tea, so hopefully it was just a one off, I feel a bit better about going home now :)

Glad to hear it, seems like just one of those things.
and just to confirm, little madam was right as rain last night and is certainly back to her monstrous self today (has so far sneakily taken and "ragged" my dog walking hat and my slippers...)
but it's nice to have her back ;)

Glad she is ok, it could be that she ate something that upset her and if she is a chewer be extra careful as the eating of unsuitable materials can cause serious problems.
thanks Jackie ;) will keep an eye on her, they don't 'alf cause us worry eh!!
mind you, I noticed the other day Fergus picked something up in the garden and seemed very possessive of it, when I checked it was a cooked meat bone!! I can only think that it had either been dropped by a scavenging bird, or left by a rat or something, cos it was a big bone, and we only tend to have roast chicken occasionally, and I always bag up the remains and put them straight in the wheelie bin....so I don't know where this bone came from.
and then I get to thinking that they have a lot of bar-b-q's next garden-but-one - I hope they're not chucking stuff over.... :(
