Think this is a known reaction to some types of injection, would ring the vet and see what they say but I think it will go down over the next few days.

Is it at the sight of injection??
My eldest child always used to get a lump the size of a golfball (where the injection went in) everytime he had his jabs :(

I'd imagine it is harmless (but I'm not a vet), I would definately be getting in touch with the vets to be on the safe side, no use taking chances :)

my two youngsters had lumps after their injections, sometimes if the serum is too cold it can cause a reaction too, just keep massaging the area and contact vet to be on safe side ;)

took him to the vet they said it was a bruise so they drained it give him injection and put him on antibiotics for 5 days i think they could have drained it some more he still got a small lump that  hasn't filled back up just hoping it will go as he is a show dog and missed a champ show because of it vet said its not through the injection because it was three weeks before the lump came up said that he have bumped it somewhere but i cant see that because i am with him all the time and when i am not with him he is in the crate and i spoke to the breeder and they said it was the injection    thanks for your advice i think you are right

Hi Martin, my boy has these reactions to injections all the time, he recently went into the vets for a biopsy, when we picked him up the next day he had the startings of 3 lumps on his neck, by the next day all three were huge, he resembled a dinosaur, bless him, but it is now 3 weeks since his biopsy and they have all gone down now.  The first time it happened at the beginning of the year, I was a bit like you, it had been 3 or 4 weeks or so since he had last had an injection, and this was what the vet told me, that it was a reaction to injections he had been having and I was a bit sceptical, she also drained his lump which was right in between in shoulder blades and injected it with an antibiotic, and that lump seemed to get bigger before it went away, but we are used to it now, but I still mention it to the vet, just to make her aware and to make sure nothing gets missed or that anybody gets complacent about it.
