what age is he? my puppy is 18 weeks and started teething a week or so ago, he hasnt had any sickness or diarrhoea, these can both very serious in young puppies, i would get him checked at a vets if i were you.

our westie pup 16 weeks old we have been to the vet when he just had diarrhoea but last night he was sick and he was sick again today,im just waiting for the vet to ring now.we can see his bottom teeth coming through.ive spoke to a friend who's puppy was the same when teething and wanted to know if it was a common thing?

Of all 3 pups i've ever had, NONE of them were remotely under the weather whilst teething. I do not feel that it would be safe to assume teething is the cause....best to rule out more serious causes. Pups can be seriously ill with d &v ......I had an 8 month pup die of an overwhelming infection that started with d&v. Please see your vet again.
