Have had some decorating done in the house and the painter has painted over the brass door hinges with Satinwood paint.-AH

How can I remove-any solution I can buy that will take it off ?

white sprit should do the trick if not try piant stripper

would nitomores (sp?) maybe work? i remember us stripping layers of paint off wood with it but not sure if it would damage the metal
