I taught my baby to 'sit' today and 'gently' take the piece of chicken from my hand as a reward! Also taught her to 'come' although this is still a bit hit and miss. I just wondered, do you always give a treat when they 'come' 'sit' etc. for ever? Also, has anyone any good tips for lead training? I've let her run around with the lead on today without me holding it (closely supervised, of course). But when I hold the lead and say 'walk' she looks at me like I've just arrived from planet zog!! Not allowed to take her out for another week and a half, but want to get her used to walking on the lead before our first outing.

I would continue to give food rewards for a while as these are being successful. When the commands are mastered, then give the treat intermittently. Always give verbal praise for a correct response. Now your pup doesnt speak english, so the command "walk" means absolutely nothing to her! Allowing her to get used to the lead as you are is good. To get her to walk, whilst on lead, start by enticing her along with a titbit, and reward the moment she takes a couple of steps. Gradually you cn reduce the frequency of rewards.
