I was speaking to a young lad at work last night who said his girlfriend had just brought a puppy...so as you do I asked the usual questions.
He said it was a JR x border collie, had come from wales and had been delivered. He also said they had had many other breeds for sale.I told him IMO the puppy had come from a puppy farm and explained to him what I meant,he then asked if that could be the reason why the puppy was very frightened!I am concerned since the girl has a 2yr old son and now a terrified little puppy who IMO is not a cross I would recommend to someone without some dog owning experience.
I can't help but see this dog is probably going to end up in rescue or passed on to numerous homes and then PTS ...I have offered any help I can ....lets hope I'm wrong.
Is it worth geting the phone no of this place and doing some digging? Is there anywhere to report possible puppy farms?

How very sad :( i do see a lot of adverts saying can deliver..... sounds well dodgy, hope pup will be OK :(
oh how it breaks my heart to hear that this goes on, i would investigate, good luck
Possibly ring the RSPCA?We all know what a nightmare they are but its a step in the right direction. Maybe they'd wanna check it out or give some advice of who else to contact?
Feel sorry for the puppy. UNfortunately have no sympathy for the people who bought the pup. Did alarm bells not ring for them?Or were they just tempted with a bargain?

First port of call should always be the local authority, responsible for issuing licences (or not in some cases.)

Some LA' need pushing to use the law. Even when it is obvious that more than foru litters in any year have been advertised and sold. The Inland Revenue will always investigate.

Yup Agree, Inland revenue! :) If this "puppy farm" is making money and not paying the right taxes.... Hit them where it hurts.

you know they will chase it up like mad, go for it!
