Is there any way to find a dogs KC registation number as I am half way through filling in a form and have sent my litter registration form off the the KC with the number on the original?

Do you have any health certificates for your dog if so they will have the KC no on them.

Its for the stud dog I used and I have sent the original litter registration form to the KC to process.

I think the only thing you can do is phone the stud dogs owner then, unless anyone else has any ideas!!

She is in OZ !!

Can't you just email the owner then?  Presumably you must have had a fair bit of contact somehow before this stage :)

Failing that why not just call the KC and tell them you've not kept a note of the info required - they're more helpful sometimes than given credit for :)

Meant to say she is on holiday in OZ, not just lives in OZ. Don't know if she will check emails whist on holiday.

I'll try the KC and let you know how I go on.

The KC should help if you've already sent the litter registration request through and can prove who you are.

Arrrhhh, no they couldn't give me the number as he isn't my dog. I have to wait until the registration forms come back. How frustrating !

Do you know his date of birth - and someone with a Breed Record Supplement - because it will be in there

odd that the KC can't give the number to you when the BRS is a matter of public record and therefore so is the registration number.

KC Registration numbers are not listed in the BRS.
