Can anyone let me know where you get DNA swabs from.
I only need 2 so that I can send to Optigen for DNA test for PRA for Millie our Choc Lab.

as far as im aware, the PRA test is done using the eye drops?
it has to be at the right clinics though, i assume the kc hold a list?

the one nearest to me is about an hour away, some shows hold sessions though too...or at least they used too!

oops ive read their site and seen it does test for it in labs, sadly not in collies yet tho!

for the cea test i had to have blood taken, if you email the optigen site they will no doubt send you the info you need

I belive for the DNA tests it needs to be specific cotton swabs.  My breed club had to wait to get some in, as there sems to be a DNA test just developed for the late onset form of PRA that we have had a few inciences of in the last 15 years.

I expect your breed club will have some or know which ones you need.
