also pro dogs is very good at listing forthcoming shows both champ and open.

Also try Penny Pine they have contacts/scheldules for most South West Shows.Alternatively look in Dog World/Our Dog.

You're in the right catchment area for open shows :)  A lot of shows are held at the Royal Bath and West showground, Shepton Mallet, - also Hutton Moor Leisure Centre is becoming a very popular venue too at Weston-Super-Mare.  The links previously posted are great for finding out when the shows are.

There are quite a few Jo, mostly at Shepton Mallett,a nd a few at the Leisure centre in Weston super Mare.  the next easy to reach venue is malvern where quite a number are held, further away but all motorway so easier and quicker to get to.

Sadly I haven't been to any Open show for two years since my friends who used to take me moved to France.

Any chance your looking for someone to share petrol costs with?  Can't help with the driving due to lack of eyesight but reduces the cost for both splitting petrol.

sorry but with 3 dobies my partner and son we couldnt squeeze any one else in the estate!! we are just getting back into showing after nearly three years away from it! we are just wanting to do a few local shows and maybe a champ show or two! (just for fun!!!)

Oh lots of dobie folk around in the area, used to travel with some on occasion.

When Jozi won the champ stakes at Windsor we travelled in the back of a dobie van to go to the final day (which we won).

it will be nice to meet new people down this way. we moved down south from the north and showed mostly in scotland, north east and cumbria. We did a few champ shows but i prefered the local open shows they just seemed a lot friendlier.
