...ever met any famous people????

Bizarre question I know, but I am totally overwhelmed that one of my puppies, who now lives in Windsor with her besotted 'oomans, has met Mr Samuel L Jackson, who specifically stopped to speak to her owners, and took photos of her, correctly identified what breed she was, and when his minders tried to get him to move along said "oh no, I'm talking to this dog..."  I wish her owners had taken a photo of her with him!! :)

and the same poop has been smiled at by The Queen and Prince Philip, when they passed close by in a posh car that had to slow down, and they got a good look at her..... maybe The Queen would like to go for a different breed???

I havent...but I wish Mr Samuel L Jackson would come and talk to my afghans!!!!!!! ( Athough an entire riot van full of police wearing flak jackets once stopped and jumped out to come and fuss them...but they were not famous!)

My girlies have met Jilly Cooper, she was filming "The Great British Village Show" and we went along with the girlies. She kept glancing our way and at the first opportunity came across to chat with them and us. and yes she knew the breed and was really quite knowledgeable about them. Alan Titchmarch was there too but his Minders kept him very close to themselves!!

Oooh, methinks you've got the edge on mine in the rankings LOL.

They've quite frequently met the cast of Taggart and Scotch & Wry over a number of years and various period dramas on STV and BBC Scotland (they use houses in our area for a lot of filming) but they've missed out on royalty and US celebs big time :( 

C'est la vie!  Maybe one day George C or Brad P will be enticed onto Taggart ............ wont hold my breath though :-D

LOL yes I think I ought to invite myself to go and stay with them and hopefully "bump" into some celebs myself ;) knowing my luck it would be someone who absolutely hated the breed.....

My first dal met all sorts of famous people because of where we were working, Prince Charles being the highest ranking. Harry was chatted to (and shown on TV!) with Philippa Forrester at Crufts a few years back.

Not 'met' as such but Shay used to frequent the garden (via a hole in the fence) of a certain well know politician who lives in the next street, famed for saying 'no' (and, rather topically, has been in the news today ;-) ).  Not content with just having a wee in   this person's shrubbery, he would help himself to cartons of milk if it had been left at the back door by the milkman and, bizarrely, once emerged from the garden with a whole Gallia melon in his gob   I wouldn't have had the householder down as a melon-for-breakfast sort of person :-)

The hole in the fence was mended some time ago...probably to deter the thief that kept nicking the milk off the doorstep :-D

Yep one of my puppies went to David Murphy who played football for Hibernian and one went to Model Jakki Degg and one went to live with a Royal Military Police officer. :)

Yup, I have met & had my photo (with my pup) taken with Richard wilson. Spoken to Rolf Harris. Been in John lewis at the same time as Les Mc (bay city Rollers.) Wendy Turner @ crufts again dog photo. Also went out with and had short engagment with someone famous (now a millionair!) sorry I dont kiss and tell.....over the years I supose I have seen a few famous folk at crufts Angela Rippon.+P.P+.B.F+H.R.H, cant think of anymore. If I wake in the wee small hours I will remember.

ah these stories are fab - keep telling!!! I (or my own pooches) have yet to meet anyone famous, not that I would actively seek to, if you know what I mean...... :D
