Hello all,
I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help me finding any offspring of Afterglow Prunella, i have owned her for 2 1/2 years now and after having a wonderful chat with Gwen today made me wonder if there were any of Prunella's babies out there.
I have learnt that after thinking for all this time that Prunella was a nervous jumpy little dog that infact this has been inherited from her father Dexter (shch boduf pistols at dawn)and gwen used the fabulous term that the Dexter offspring are all "Diva's" !!! completly true of Pru (i was even going to call the behavourist in but now Gwen has saved me a fortune).
I would love to find any dog that is either related to Prunella or Dexter to see if they too are Diva's...male or female !
If i open the fridge when Prunella is eating she becomes so jumpy and looks at me as if to say "Do you mind...I am trying to eat..IN PEACE thank you very much" and then throws in the most indignant look..as if she's the lady of the house and i'm the mere sculery maid.
Any information would be gratefully received.

hi there, welcome,
i have 2 dexter grandchildren, [both bodufs], 1 tri girl & 1 parti boy they are uncle & neice, my boy is the best diva anybody could have he is the best showman i have ever had. i also had about 10yrs ago a dexter parti son but i didnt get him untill he was about 9mths and he proved to be a very grumpy boy in the ring so he went to my friends horse yard which suited him fine. do you do any showing?

Hi,
Sorry for the very late reply but internet problems at home, in response to do i do any showing with Prunella the answers no as she comes with quite a history.
When Mike gave her to me she had just recently lost all her pups that she was pregnant with as she developed anto immune heamolytic anemia and had to have a blood transfusion etc to save her life as lost a lot of blood, she was such a diva to start with and wouldn't walk anywhere and expected to be carried the whole time..2 weeks later we found the reason for this..she was still pregnant and  gave birth !! By some miracle one puppy had survived prunella's ordeal, little Ocean was born and is now nearly 3 and lives with my ex partner happily going to work with him each day in the building trade.
When we rang the vets to say that she had just given birth he said i dont believe it...no puppy could/should have survived the transfusion and the high amount of steriods that Pru was given to save her..!
I did take Pru to a couple of dog shows to see if she still had the looks/charm etc but she was placed no where in one and last in the other !!....i wanted to shout out "Don't you know who she is...she has 15 sh ch !!!
So hence ive never put myself through the dreadful pain again.
