Have put our house up for sale today-daresay it will take an age to sell due to the property market at present.

Hubby works in North Wales-engineer in construction-so we will be looking to buy around the area-any suggestions?

I would like to locate to a village-cottage type of property-Llangollen looks really nice.

Would like to get myself involved in village life-hopefully meet up with doggie folks for walks-plus other activities.

Sorry Ramon, I am in South Wales so can't help you.  I am sure that someone will come along shortly who can!  :)  You could also try a few property websites for an idea of the house prices in the area you want.

i live in north wales, about 15 miles or so from Llangollen it is a lovely place but very busy in the summer with tourists, some nice walks by the canal.  Worth visiting the area and having a good look about, espically in the summer or you may find your peacful beautful village taken over in the lovely hot summer months :-D Theres some nice villages in the chester area, rather expensive though we've just brought in Mold a little market town, i love it because theres a field just around the  corner where i can walk the dogs, the docs, dentist, school, park vets shops all in walking distance so i'm not isolated if oh has the car and a marked twice a week and aution once a week and an antique auction once a month.

Hi, Im in North Wales, just on the border of Chester.  Im often in Llandudno (OH from there) West Shore beach has lots of friendly dog walkers to the left of the cafe walk towards Conwy or theres the walk round the Orm.  I moved over from Manchester 9 years ago, best thing I ever did

Another North Waleser here as well, i love Llangollen as well but it does get very full in the summer like the other poster said.

Babell, Lloc, Nannerch are all sort of village locations which are pretty nice.
