Hi I have BMD, Large breed and had a fantastic idea to buy a sort of back pack to put on them so that they could carry bottle of water etc when we are out on long walks or a fairly hot day.
Does anyone do this already and or know where I could get my paws on one??? xx

Ruff Wear make nice doggy backpacks in various sizes. They are available from a number of places in the UK. Search for Canine Spirit on Google and you will find one of their suppliers. I use a little one for my fox terrier so that she can carry her toys, brush,  dog biscuits etc when I take her to work with me. It certainly makes people do a double-take when they see her trotting into the office with her rucksack on!

This would be great except when I would have to watch as my BMD heads straight into the river or muddiest puddle with it on :D :D

i brought mine from countrymun and the dogs seem to like them
light weight and easy to clean.
although not cheap.
