We were playing with puppy-boy today and when I said, "where's OH?  There he is!  Go get OH", puppy ran to him full of glee and happy wiggles.  When OH tried to send him back to me puppy clearly had no idea who I was or what was wanted.  He knows the names of several toys now, commands, places etc. but since I'm the one doing most of the teaching he hasn't learned my name.  OH is too dull and stodgy to make excited high pitched squeaky games out of using my name so the consequence is that puppy knows his name and not mine.  HUMMMPFFFF!

When doing recall use your name  i.e. "come to mummy" or "come to ??????"

aww! poor you! thats sad. can you find a more willing assistant to help?

Im sure he doens know who you are, maybe he sees your OH less then you? So more fuss is made of him when he is there?

I'm sure he loves me too.  We planned to visit his Grandma today, who would enthusiastically help him learn my name.  He knows she is Grandma.  But it is snowing and blowing again, a major highway is closed and as the day goes on it is only supposed to get worse, with 25 cm more snow expected.  So I guess we won't be going, PHOOOEY.
