WE are sooooooo proud that one of our wires has been chosen as one of the 5 KC Friends For Life finalists . Harriet and Yepa are so special. Thank you all so much for your support. They are winners in my eyes anyway but I would LOVE  to make it official! The tissues will be passed round when we see it on TV and it will be even worse to see her and Yepa in the BIS ring..........the pair of them are amazing. Crufts this year is a very special occasion.

I have a huge respect for that little girl and her parents. That dog has made such a difference in her life and she is out competing with the rest of us as well. Gundog, obedience and conformation. That dog has a brilliant life and seems to have brought so much to Harriet

The filming was done today and it wil be broadcast on 6th March with abridged versions on the 7th and 8th. They are hoping that voting wil be online as well as by phone. Voting will close on the 8th or noon on the 9th.

You can keep all your BOB's.....today was a privilege to watch the joy  and companionship that a dog has brought a little girl.

Watched last night with tears in my eyes. Wanted to vote for them all (which would defeat the object)

They were marvellous, it brought a tear to my eye as well. My sister commented how lovely they were together

well if i was going to vote...i would vote for the wire viz.....its the only one there that is actually doing anything in my opinion!!!
i cant stop laughing when they show the feature each night (mind not as bad as last year when i had to sit through the whole thing live in the main ring)....it was so drawn out, cheesy and awful and you should have heard the comments from others sitting in my section!!! one well known international BIS judge was in stitches next to me because like me she thought it was so ludicrous!!The newfy....what a hoot you see it walking round with a bucket of apples or a watering can but what on earth is the point? are they suggesting it picked the apples or put the water in the can? of course not. its just a gimmick. I have a hound that carries a log home on each walk but he is yet to learn how to use an axe or light the fire!!!
The alleged gsd...what exactly does that do? it does what virtually every dog in the country does...gives companionship to its owner. Hardly award winning stuff.The dogs from the war zone.....well to say they underwent a long and dangerous journey to get to the uk is crazy as it was a lot more dangerous where they lived before!!  and as for that poor lab, well i thought he looked the most miserable sad dog there and felt so sorry for him.
At least the viz seems to be genuinly helping a child to become more mobile. hope it wins.

Yes, I don't think many of them actually do more than any other dog this year - last year it was quite hard to decide. I voted for Yepa, though that first one where the lady was sick and the dog was rescued was quite nice too. The rest like you say I didn't think did anything dramatically special, they were just nice dogs. :-)

I genuinely thought they were THE most deserving pairing in the FFL competition and I was thrilled to see them win.

Congrats to you too Diane for breeding such a very special, loving and perfect companion to an especially loving and appreciative little girl!  A great home for Yepa and a match made in Heaven for this dog and enchanting child :)

Sam:Think the dogs in the war zone did have a long and dangerous journey back and they also did an amazing job of keeping the troops going when they were fighting. For that they definately deserve to be in the competion. All the dogs, for various reasons deserved to be there. How you could laugh i find amazing. I watched with tears in my eyes every time.
