Stakes classes at a limit show (minor puppy bitch) which are scheduled at the start of the day so could be before breed classes.  If I went in minor puppy bitch and got beaten, but won best puppy in breed in the breed class, would I still be able to go into the puppy group or would I have disqualified myself?  Anyone know?  Thanks for your help.

No you would be classed as a beaten dog.  You could still get BPIB if you won the breed class but wouldn't be able to go forward to BPIS
