We're considering the possibility of relocating to the US with my husband's job but one of the major considerations would be the dogs.  Does anyone have a rough idea how much it would cost (they are both GSDs) and how long the process would take from start to finish?  I'm also interested to know, from anyone who has had experience of this, how the dogs tend to find the travelling experience?  I think I remember someone suggesting that the dogs can sit for too long on the airport tarmac in the heat before traveling or being transported so maybe the time of year would be important too.  Any information or suggestions gratefully received!
