Just read on  BBC Scotland website about a dog seeing off an attacker on a young girl.  This girl is my neighbour and I'm sooo pleased that the dog had a go.  He is a feisty dog (but gorgeous and very friendly) and in this instance it has paid off and rightly so.  May we all take care when walking at night.
