I did have a look at a few on e-bay ones claiming to be £2-2.5K  selling for around £400-£500 .  My 17 nearly 18 year old daughter wants one and I thought well it may be good for me to :-)

We have one and OH uses it in the winter months. He wouldn't get any proper exercise during the week otherwise so for him it's been great.

I got the Roger Black gold version and its pretty good.  We kept it in our garage, set up with a fan and TV etc.  I didnt use it that much really but like bint, my OH used to use it more in the winter time.  We havent been able to use it since we moved in October as we have nowhere to put (currently in storage).  Hopefully when we move again in a few months time, I will be able to get more use out of it.

We got ours from Argos and original price was £795 but it was half price plus I got an extra 10% off as I worked there at the time (paid around (£360).

As i said in a previous post, if you're looking at paying several hundreed pounds on a running machine, thats the same as gym membership for a whole year. Gym has lots of eqiupment, trained staff who motivate you and give you a programme, plus you often get added perks like classes, sauna, swimming etc. I think thats more of an investment for a few hundreed pounds than getting one piece of equipment. Up to you but just my opinion.

Mums just bought one.
She paid about £1000 for it, but she uses it every day, and I will use it as well If I cant get out for some reason.
The place where she got hers from are all atheletes them selves, and one is in the olympics. So KNOW what they are talking about :)
She went in knowing not much, and telling them she is a techno phobe, and they actually sold her one that was cheaper than the one she went in for as it was easier to  use. And it is very good :)

They have stopres in Northampton - Chester - Manchester - London
Well worth a trip :)
It all depends on how much you want to spend!!!! :)

I have one of these (seller Nextday?)- it is very good and yes on googling around they do sell for the 2k ish range.

I am more than happy with mine, although someone else who bought one from the same seller had to wait a fair bit longer for delivery, but again when it did arrive the product was excellent.
