OMG. Have just watched it. Whatever are the owners thinking of taking the bitch and puppies (12days old) to a tv studio....being handled by all those people. Also the bitch is only 2 and this is her 2nd litter!!!! in the first she had 13 puppies. They are going to "rest" her now for 2 years then she will have yet more puppies.......Oh.....and forgot to say £1,000 each.

Dogue de Bordeaux!!!
Annoyed me that there was a lot of emphasis on the price. Yes they are worth a lot but that is not the be all and end all. Really narks me off when people just look at puppies/breeding as a way to make a quick buck.

Wonder if the tax man is watching LOL ...
no i doubt it, he's always too busy screwing the rest of us to get the real culprits :-)

oh not who I was thinking of then! didn't see it though
what 12 days old!!!

Channel 4 + 1.....it will be on there again now if you want to catch it.
Must admit I did read about it in the paper this week.....so lots of publicity for the litter.
I wouldnt want the job of cleaning up after them when they get to the "messy age"!!!!.

they are so stupied in taking the mum and the 12 day old pupppie allday to the studio.what richard stated they where there that time.
plus the owner stated where she lived and her and her daughter name where up on the screen,
plus they going on their web page for richard and judy great advert for the dogs to be stolen as well.
just like to say i only watch this programm today off after a knee op i be glad to get back to work after watch some of the rubbish that on day time tv

Oooh wonder what the mother and fathers hipscores are???

I saw it! One of the them (Judy I think) said "this little lot is worth £16,000." Couldn't believe the owners had agreed to that being said. The owner also said that they were looking for good homes for them all and in chimed Richard with "go on our website and we'll see what we can do!". Really stupid. I don't see what the point of it was at all other than to advertise the puppies - they didn't talk about health issues or anything.
I did think the owner said she was 3 though, not 2 (though I might be wrong!).

Yep.....I wonder. To be honest though I have more of a problem with the fact that the bitch is 2 years old and has had in total 29 puppies in two litters and is going to have another litter.
I sincerely hope they find suitable homes for these puppies as I am sure this breed is not for just any old person.

May have been wrong with the age.....but even so its still alot of puppies to have had even at that age.

I agree. They said she'd had a cesarean this time didn't they. They didn't mention whether they show her or anything, but surely out of the 29 there must be a few good ones if that's what they were aiming for (or maybe it's just pound signs!). Only a pup herself really at 2 or 3.

she was 3 year old had a litter before of 12 i think they stated and going to rest for 2 years and have hopefully have another litter

So surely this litter isnt going to cost them more than £16,000 to rear. I know people say there's no profit in breeding, but seeing this makes it hard to believe,in this particular case anyway.

So glad I didnt catch it, but it sounds horrid.
Moring news headline :
PUPS WORTH 16000 STOLEN!!!!

that was my first thoughts when i was watching this, plus she has other breeds bulldogs.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope someone from the inland revenue were watching. Disgraceful having the pups there at that age.
