I've been looking vfor a pup for a while & today was offered a Patterdale pup, but know little about the breed having always had Springers in the past.

Have 2 main concerns really:

a) I have a 4 & 5yr old -
b) I have a 16yr old cat (who mainly sleeps all day long in one room)

Any advice please as to whether a Patterdale is teh right choice, as don't want to end up choosing the wrong dog!
