This has to be one of the most asked questions on this site! and the answers are always the same-
1/ Has your bitch had the relevant health checks?
2/ is she a good example of the breed-i.e done well at show or been surveyed?
3/ have you really thought about the implications of bringing a litter into this world for which you should be responsible for not 8 weeks but all of the pups life
4/Have you considered the cost -extra good quality food for mum & babies,possible cesar etc......
If you can say yes to all these then the first step is to go back to your bitches breeder for advice on suitable bloodlines to use.
No responsible breeder will let you use their dog without the above points being satisfied .

archer, while i agree with what you wrote-ive never quite heard it phrased like that------has she been surveyed :) :)
she should have her hips scored, if theyve not been it wont get done in time for this season, also theres the tail docking issue, has that been considered, then finally dont you think theres plenty rottie pups about without adding to the numbers?
