any ideas were i could get a gate for my danes .i need it to fit a square arch separating kitchen and extension where i want to keep them when not at home.the problem is the opening is 63 inches wide and i need a decent height again maybe 50 inches to stop them jumping it.we have solid butchers block worksurfaces which our 4 year chewed as a pup and dont want this happening with the 2 new pups.any ideas or help would be grateful

I think you may need to get one made.

my friend breeds Irish wolfhounds and she has a wroght iron garben gate painted the same colour as her hallway, it looks great! it fits right up into the archway too......might be worth considering?

thanks for that idea. not worried about it being wrought iron just worried i wont be able to get a gate thats 65 inches wide as long as it keeps 3 danes out of the kitchen i dont mind i could get a puppy gate for now but would have to change it in 6 months a i dont really wont to do that.i would like to get a solution right from the start.

I would go to a place that makes garden and drive gates and get something suitable made that is lighter weight.
