Topic Dog Boards / General / Export endorsement?
- By Star [in] Date 06.01.08 08:14 UTC
One of my pups will be moving to Germany with her new owners in about 6 months time. This is a permanant move and she will not be returning.I endorse all the registrations as not for export. Does she need a full pet passport or just the rabies vaccine to go out of the UK.(I assume they can finish it off in Germany if they choose) and will I need to get the endorsement taken off before they go. Is moving with owners the 'same' as export?
Thanks

Export endorsement only stands for her not being able to breed etc. abroad as they've gone against the breeders wishes re. exporting.  But if they are wanting it for showing etc. and you'll be transferring it into their details then I think you would need to lift the endorsement.

DEFRA site tells you everything that you will need to do to have the dog exported.

You only need to lift the export one if they are going to show or breed the puppy.   Ifn ot there is no real need to lift it as it doesn't affect it's registration with the UK KC. They cannot register the puppy with any other club though without a KC export document.
