can anyone suggest a
3rd party liability only horse insurance (not E&L!!) please. have decided its way too expensive doing full vet etc insurance and going to cut right back on the oldie!

Sam
Have you spoken to whoever does your home/business insurance they can often arrange third party for you

Who's the best horse insurer around? Ive been thinking of getting my man insured but not sure who to go with??
Best and most reasonable we have found is NFU.

i am currently with NFU and certainly they have been excellent. however the problem we are having is that sometimes hes on our land and sometimes hes on a paddock we rent, depending on what the grounds like....NFU wont cover for 3ed party while hes on the rented paddock!!!

Yep Sam if you join the BHS Gold member about £50 a year you get Public Liability insurance for every horse you own.

Yep! That is what I use for my golden oldie lawn mower who is a loss of use job and just spends his days muching grass and costing me money.

What does public liability insurance cover?

Say your horse escapes from its field and causes a road accident or damage to someone else's property and they come to you for redress or to sue or whatever- it's that sort of thing!
